Sullivan Giles
Sullivan has an extensive fine arts background and holds a MFA in oil painting from the New York Academy of Art. From the Pacific Northwest, she grew up on Capitol Hill and has spent most of her life in Seattle. Her love of painting, tattoos, and her lifelong commitment to artistic pursuits led her to tattooing.
After a 20 year career in the service and bar industry, Sullivan apprenticed with the talented crew of Rabid Hands and has stayed on as a full time tattooer after graduating her apprenticeship. Her tattoo style is primarily illustrative, blending elements of neo-traditional line weights and decorative art. While her tattoos differ significantly from her oil paintings and studio work, they’re rooted in the same deep appreciation for detail, line, and ornament.
Sullivan especially enjoys tattooing florals, botanicals, skulls and bones, insects, and scrollwork, and is happy to explore other subject matter and styles.

In her spare time you can find her painting, drinking coffee, and playing with her two young cats Taffy and Hobbes.
